6th-Grade Families,

Nature's Classroom is almost here.

Please see the attached packing list.

As of today, the weather looks rainy for our trip.  Daytime temps range from 58 to 61, and nights are in the 50s. There is a  15% chance of rain on Wednesday, a 58% chance of rain on Thursday, and a 57% chance of rain on Friday. Please pack accordingly. Some suggested items to bring:

- Raincoat
- Disposable rain ponchos (Available at Walmart or Dicks' Sporting Goods)
- Boots
- Extra hoodie
- Extra shoes
- Extra socks

Your child should not have any medication with them. All of the medicines will be labeled and delivered to the Nature’s Classroom Nurse.

Day campers will use their regular transportation to and from school each day, then be bused to and from Nature's Classroom each day, and will receive lunch each day. Breakfast will be available at Shaw before departure each day.

Extended-Day campers will use their regular transportation to school each day and will then be bused to and from Nature's Classroom each day. Breakfast will be available at Shaw before departure each day.  Lunch and dinner will be provided each day.  Extended day campers will arrive back at Shaw by 9:15 PM, and a Parent/Guardian must pick up at Shaw at 9:15 PM on Wednesday & Thursday.

Overnight campers are to be dropped off on Wednesday morning between 7:30 am and 7:55 am at the rear basketball court, bringing their belongings (see attached map).  A box truck will transport all student belongings to and from Charlton. Please store all items in a zipped or tied bag, suitcase, or similar container, including pillows and blankets. You may also use a garbage bag. When loading the items into the box truck, make sure there are no loose belongings. Pick-up will be on Friday at 1:30 PM at the cafeteria entrance.  All overnight campers are to be driven to and from school.

We are all looking forward to an exciting trip. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Mr. Tuccio
