Shaw Community Update

November 2025

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Community Members,

Warm greetings to you and your loved ones as we approach the Thanksgiving and holiday season.

This year at Shaw, our hearts are brimming with gratitude. Our exceptional and compassionate educators and staff, together with your wonderful children, form the core of the Shaw family and create an environment where learning truly flourishes. We are deeply thankful for the privilege of working with each and every one of them.

As we move into this season of reflection and gratitude, our students and teachers have begun preparing for Student-Led Conferences, which will take place in December. These conferences provide students with an opportunity to take ownership of their learning, reflect on their progress, and share their goals with families. It is always a proud moment for teachers and families alike to witness students articulate their growth and celebrate their achievements.

As always, your input and support is very important to us. Please know our doors are always open to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

Regards,
Andrew Tuccio & Erin Rosenkranz

Our parent presentation includes topics such as defining bullying and the
various forms of harassment, including cyberbullying. This presentation

social media and the legal ramifications of harassment. Internet safety tips are provided, along with addressing how your children’s personal use of social media can affect their future opportunities and personal relationships. District Attorney Early’s Office will also provide tips on how to recognize and resolve these situations, as well as how to create a safer digital environment at home.

Hands-on activities provided students with the opportunity to learn new scientific concepts with in-depth exploration. Students also participated in team building activities which helped strengthen relationships and amplify student collaboration. A huge thank you to our teachers, staff at school, and parent volunteers (especially those overnighters) who made this trip possible!
