Our school will be administering the BASC-3 Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) in October, January, and April to help us better understand and support students’ social-emotional needs. This brief screener provides insight into students’ strengths and areas for growth, guiding classroom instruction and support; parents will be contacted if follow-up is recommended. Please see this letter for more details, including how to opt out if you choose.
