Our March Madness Food Drive starts tonight.

Our food pantry shelves are low, and we are asking families to consider donating non-perishable food items, toiletries, or diapers to help support students and families in our community.

Most-needed items include peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, rice, pasta, canned beans, soup, chili, oatmeal, cereal, Pop-Tarts, and granola bars.

Classes will compete in a March Madness-style bracket throughout the week, and the winning class will earn a basketball knockout game with teachers.

Tournament Schedule:
Tonight (Monday): Play-In Round for seeding; top four teams earn a bye
Tuesday: Round 1
Wednesday: Quarterfinals
Thursday: Semifinals
Friday through Monday: Finals

Day 1 of the March Madness Food Drive at Shaw is in the books, and our bracket has officially been formed! 🏀

The following teams earned a first-round bye based on the number of items collected on Day 1:

1st Place:
111 (Mrs. Sullivan) & 112 (Mrs. Salois)

2nd Place:
217 (Mrs. Vaillancourt) & 215 (Ms. Peters)

3rd Place:
231 (Mr. Mistretta) & 232 (Ms. Harrington)

4th Place:
108 (Mrs. Grass) & 110 (Ms. Pepin)

Be sure to check out the bracket for tonight’s matchups. The teams that bring in the most items tomorrow will advance to the quarterfinals.
